Morehouse vs Kentucky

The college basketball season officially starts tonight with some mouth watering
(-_-) matchups.

The exception is of course is the North Carolina vs Michigan State game which is being played on an active US Navy Carrier: USS Calvin. The game, a rematch of the 2009 national championship, is set to be a good one. If not at least we can say that it's on a boat. Pretty fucking cool.

Anyway, I din't start this to write about UNC but about another powerhouse Kentucky. Even though the season starts today most schools have played a few exhibitions to prepare, Kentucky included.

On Monday night, my Alma mater: Morehouse College traveled to Lexington, Kentucky to take on the famed Wildcats.

Why, you ask?

Maybe he does

Seriously though I think hope that it involved some money being given to my school. This is a common practice in college football. The big schools often pay smaller schools to travel to their schools for a game, cupcake matchups. Hopefully, Morehouse got 6 figures for it because, well you know what happened...

This week's Throwback Thursday is an ode to WTT. This was the first collaboration between Jay-Z and Kanye West. 'Ye didn't rap but he made the beat and started a friendship that would later lead to WTT and the best concert I'm ever going to experience (already proclaiming this).
